The Sorrow of Illusion

I finally got a piece up inspired by the wonderful art of Samain. This is a picture of the personna of the Lady of Illusion, also knwn as "Snoots" in her animal form. Here she is depicted part as a woman and part as a creature... with wings thrown in (because wings are always good ) Actually the wings represent her supposed freedom, but the dark-colored circles around her represent the actually reality of her own mental captivity.

This piece is done in colored pencil as of the moment... I hope to go into the computer later and maybe completely repaint it, but we'll see.
